Perfect Placement Automotive Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable independent garage in Chelmsford, Essex, for an experienced Service Advisor. This position offers the opportunity to work within a professional, customer-focused environment, supporting a busy service team and maximising service sales.

Duties of the Service Advisor
* Greet customers at front of house, managing bookings via phone and online platforms
* Liaise with workshop control, managers, and technicians to ensure smooth workflow
* Upsell additional services and parts to optimise vehicle service revenue
* Prepare vehicle health reports (VHC) and customer job estimates
* Use Autoworks system to assist with bookings, parts sourcing, and job costing
* Maintain high standards of customer service and accurate documentation
* Ensure proper follow-up and communication with customers throughout the service process
Requirements
* Minimum of three years' experience as a Service Advisor within an independent garage or prestige dealership
* Full UK driving licence
* Enthusiastic attitude with excellent communication skills
* Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently under pressureStrong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of systems such as Autoworks, with a good understanding of vehicle servicing processes
