We have an exciting new vacancy for a maintenance assistant to join our team at The Metropole in Blackpool. This historic 223 rooms hotel is located at the northern end of Blackpool's famous promenade, just a short walk to the town centre.

Duties will include:
* General maintenance tasks both inside and outside of the hotel such as painting, general carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing
* Using your own initiative with the ability to work alone whilst being considerate of the guests and other hotel staff
* Communicating effectively as required with both staff and guests.
* Deal with contractors and visitors accordingly.
* Ensuring the hotel is well maintained and compliant by completing various tasks as required
The successful candidate will have excellent DIY skills or be a trades person that can tackle various forms of maintenance work.
