Are you a high-performing sales professional with a passion for healthcare logistics? Looking to take the lead on securing big-ticket deals that drive real impact? We're hiring a Strategic Business Development Manager.
At Movianto, we're proud to support some of the world's most vital healthcare providers, from pharmaceutical giants to NHS trusts. As our new Strategic Business Development Manager, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our footprint through high-value new business wins across the UK. This is a senior-level opportunity for someone who knows how to operate strategically, build lasting relationships at C-suite level, and convert complex challenges into commercially sound, solutions-led partnerships.
How you'll make an impact as a Strategic Business Development Manager at Movianto:
1. Develop and deliver a national new business strategy focused on acquiring large, strategically aligned healthcare clients. Work closely with the Head of Sales and wider commercial teams to identify and convert new opportunities across key verticals including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotech, diagnostics, and the NHS.
2. Engage senior stakeholders using a consultative approach, understand operational challenges, and craft compelling, value-led proposals that demonstrate Movianto's capabilities. Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure, supporting long-term growth and profitability.
3. Manage a healthy pipeline, lead structured tender responses, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation. Represent the brand at industry events, stay informed on market trends, and contribute to the overall commercial strategy.
What it will take to thrive as a Strategic Business Development Manager at Movianto:
* Significant client-facing experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport sectors, with a focus on healthcare.
* Experience managing full-cycle sales processes, including tenders, pricing, contracts, and implementation support.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, confident to operate at C-suite level.
* A proactive, self-motivated approach, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
* Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and strong analytical skills using tools like PowerBI.
* A passion for results and contributing to a high-performance, growth-driven sales culture.
