Healthcare - Lead Auditor

THE ROLE:
Join us as our Lead Auditor within the Quality Assurance and Quality Systems department.
You will work as part of a high performing and established team and will play a key role to maintain internal and supplier audit programmes by performing audits and management of audit schedules. you will ensure all audits are conducted to UK/EU guidelines for food and pharma requirements plus industry/customer standards.

Swadlincote, this role is site based, there may also be some requirement to travel.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Review and maintain compliance to regulatory/customer standards.
1. Maintaining a current working knowledge of legislation and guidance to ensure continuing compliance of the company.
2. Maintain internal audit procedures and templates ensuring they are updated accordingly with regulatory/customer standard changes.
3. Perform, manage, and coordinate the internal audit schedule and reports within a timely manner.
4. Maintain supplier audit procedures and templates and update accordingly with regulatory/standards changes.
5. Schedule audits within the business and externally with the audit team, internal departments, suppliers and external stakeholders.
6. Lead the audit team and departments to improve site standards.
7. Maintain quality KPI's providing senior management with review reports as and when required.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Be a self-disciplined self-starter with the ability to work autonomously. You will have excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and react to change quickly and positively, you will also ideally have:
Proven experience in quality assurance or auditing within a manufacturing or food production environment.
* 3 years direct experience in qualit
* Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
* Have experience and knowledge of BRCGS standard.
* Ability to solve problems.
* Strong IT skills.
* Experience in dealing with customers internal and external.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external networks.
* Have strong influencing and negotiation skills.
