With a legacy of success, this traditional firm has a dynamic approach to accounting, utilizing software such as Iris, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to enhance their services.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Diversity: Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to limited companies, providing a comprehensive suite of accounting services.
2. Traditional Accounting: Utilize a mix of traditional and modern accounting methods, leveraging software tools like Iris, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
3. Mixed Workload: Handle a varied workload spanning accounts, tax, and bookkeeping to ensure comprehensive support for client needs.
4. Succession Planning: Support a partner transitioning into a more compliance-focused role by gradually taking over client management and portfolio responsibilities.
5. Collaborative Team: Work alongside a team of approximately 5 members in the Hastings office, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
