This position would suit an experienced
Quality Engineer
with a strong engineering background, who thrives in a process-driven environment. Ideal for someone with a passion for continuous improvement and a solid understanding of ISO standards, this role offers a chance to influence product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain effective quality assurance and control processes to meet customer and business requirements
Drive continuous improvement using methodologies such as A3, 8D, DMAIC, PFMEA and Lean tools
Conduct and report on internal and external audits, resolving non-compliance issues with stakeholders
Manage non-conformances with robust root cause analysis and corrective actions
Support production teams with expert judgement on quality processes and product conformance
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within Manufacturing (Welding/Fabrication).
Qualified in Engineering discipline - Degree, HNC, HND or similar.
Strong root cause analysis skills using 8D/A3 methods.
Strong knowledge of ISO standards, and further experience with APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEAs.

Salary:
£40k - £48k
