The ideal vehicle build, repair engineer will have the following skills and experiences:
Engineeringqualification: level 2/ 3 engineering or above ideally electrical, electro-mechanical or mechanical or any similar engineering)
Service, repair, installation, diagnostic, calibration experience of large vehicles, heavy plant machinery, basic petrol, diesel engines or generators, large and small machines or similar machinery plant equipment
Good electrical engineeringexperience, hydraulic diagrams, engineering drawings and electrical diagrams, ideally automotive or vehicle plan
Desirable: 12v / 24v DC Automotive or plant type experience of distinct interest as well asCommunication system experience (CAN bus) or similar

This electrical vehicle build engineer role will be responsible daily for the repair, service and installation of safety and controls systems to control panels of the plant machinery. You will routinely be responsible for the preparation of the award-winning vehicles for sale to customers and fleet exhibitions so you must have excellent attention to detail, ensuring the plant machinery vehicles are in excellent clean presentable condition and fully safety compliant.
