We are seeking a motivated store manager to lead our trading team, acting as an ambassador for our cause and motivating your team to meet sales and fundraising targets. Your store will serve as a community hub, showcasing our work and engaging supporters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team of staff and volunteers, including recruitment and retention.
2. Manage the commercial aspects of the store, including merchandising, stock, standards, layout, and sales.
3. Provide excellent customer and supporter service by leading through example.
4. Maximise profit through cost control and sales strategies.
5. Build relationships within the local community and with colleagues.
6. Organise and run creative fundraising events to meet targets.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, security, and HR policies.
8. Note: Role involves manual handling and physical activity.
Candidate Profile
* Experience managing and inspiring a diverse team.

* Understanding of excellent customer service.
* Commercial awareness and knowledge of high street fashion retail.
* Adaptability and independence.
* Awareness of item value and pricing.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, respecting work-life balance.
