* This Category Buying Manager role is ideal for forward thinking individual, who has excellent experience in managing negotiations and developing category strategies within food or non-food
* The role is 2 days in the office in Weybridge and 3 days at home (must live a reasonable commute from the office which is close to the train station)
The role:
1. The successful Category Buying Manager will lead a small team of buyers to deliver range reviews, rebates, pricing and promotional strategies that deliver the commercial KPI’s for the business.
2. The Category Buying Manager will lead negotiations to develop the category strategic plan to deliver maximum value for the business whilst delivering on sustainability objectives
3. As Category Buying Manager you will keep aware of supplier, market and competitor trends and activity to develop a strategic plan that will deliver long term growth
4. Leading, coaching and developing the team you will lead multiple projects that deliver continuous improvement to drive best in class ways of working and category excellence.
