Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House Experienced Waiters for Asian Restaurant to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
* Greet guests warmly and manage their seating arrangements
* Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery
* Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
* Serve food and drinks while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
* Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
* Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
* Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
* Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems efficiently
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
* Manage guest queries or complaints professionally, aiming for swift resolution
Qualifications
* Previous restaurant or hospitality experience in Asian restaurants.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing accurately
* Experience in serving or upselling menu items is desirable but not mandatory
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment
