What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Lead, motivate and support drivers and the transport office team to deliver strong shift performance
* Be accountable for daily transport operations, including planning adjustments and route departures
* Oversee compliance across WTD, EU Drivers’ Hours and tachograph regulations
* Manage incidents, delays and customer updates, ensuring service levels are maintained
* Promote a safety‑first culture, ensuring all vehicle, driver and site standards are met
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous leadership experience within transport, distribution or logistics
* Excellent communication and people‑management skills
* Strong understanding of transport compliance and operational processes
* Highly organised with strong problem‑solving abilities
* Ability to work confidently in a high‑pressure, time‑sensitive environment
