Key Responsibilities
* Define and manage the global insurance strategy for ECS as-a-Service offerings, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
* Develop insurance frameworks and coverage models tailored to distributed energy projects, including performance guarantees, asset protection, and operational risk.
* Collaborate with legal, finance, and delivery teams to integrate insurance mechanisms into customer contracts and commercial structures.
* Manage relationships with insurance providers and brokers, ensuring alignment on coverage terms, claims processes, and service levels.
* Support internal qualification and governance processes for insurance partners, including integrity, compliance, and HSE standards.
* Provide guidance to regional teams on insurance-related aspects of deal structuring and execution.
* Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging insurance products relevant to energy-as-a-service models.
* Contribute to internal documentation, training, and tooling to support consistent implementation of insurance solutions across markets.
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in insurance product management, risk advisory, or commercial operations within the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
* Strong understanding of insurance structures for distributed energy assets, including performance guarantees, liability coverage, and operational risk.
Preferred
* Experience in energy-as-a-service or performance-based contracting environments.
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and insurance compliance in global markets.
* Background in product management or commercial enablement within a matrixed organization.
* Experience working with insurers, brokers, or risk management teams in structuring and negotiating coverage for complex projects.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across legal, finance, and operational functions.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing coverage terms, risk frameworks, and contractual language.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
