The Team
Our Children in Care team in West Essex is supportive and creative, with managers dedicated to providing high-quality, reflective supervision and support, including case dilemmas and systemic practice approaches. The Essex Social Care Academy offers outstanding training opportunities to enhance your professional development.
Our teams work with children and young people up to age 18 in care, focusing on ensuring positive experiences and preparing them for transition, whether returning home or leaving care through permanency plans, life-story work, and support for returning to family.
Requirements to Join Our Teams:
* Diploma or degree in social work, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent.
* Registration with Social Work England (SWE) as a registered Social Worker.
* Demonstrable practice capability aligned with current professional standards.
* Experience in case recording and applying social work knowledge with emotional intelligence and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in IT and case recording systems.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if necessary.
