Location: ACCORD Hospice, Paisley

Salary: AFC Band 8B equivalent – Salary £70,986 - £75, 937 dependent on experience

Full time post although flexible working will be considered.

Are you an experienced and visionary leader with a passion for making a real difference? ACCORD Hospice is seeking a highly motivated and inspirational Director of Corporate Services to join our Senior Leadership Team.

This pivotal role will support the Chief Executive in shaping the future of the Hospice, ensuring strong governance, sound financial management, and the highest standards of corporate services. As one of three Directors, you will also deputise for the CEO when required.

About the Role

As Director of Corporate Services, you will provide compassionate and values-driven leadership across Finance, HR, Administration, Facilities, Estates, Compliance, IT, and Health & Safety. You will ensure that our operations are efficient, transparent, and accountable, always acting with integrity and embedding dignity and respect into the way we support staff, patients, and families.

You will be responsible for ensuring robust financial governance and compliance with OSCR, Companies House, HMRC, and other regulatory bodies, while also driving innovation and continuous improvement. Collaboration will be at the heart of your work — building strong relationships internally and externally, including with NHS GG&C, Renfrewshire IJB, and other partners, so that together we can deliver the best possible outcomes for our community.

About You

We are looking for an outstanding leader who shares our values and will model them in everything they do. You will bring:

- Significant senior-level experience in finance, corporate services, or business management.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification (finance or business-related qualifications desirable).
- Proven ability to deliver effective financial and operational governance within a complex organisation.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to bring people with you through challenge and change.
- A commitment to excellence, ensuring that our corporate services are fit for purpose and continually improving.
- Experience within the charity or health sector is desirable but not essential.

Why Join ACCORD?

At ACCORD Hospice, we are dedicated to providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care for people across Renfrewshire and beyond. Our vision is of a community where compassion, dignity, and choice are at the heart of care. By joining our leadership team, you will play a central role in ensuring the sustainability and success of the Hospice, supporting not only excellent patient care but also the wellbeing of our staff and volunteers, and making a meaningful difference to the lives of families every single day.
