Training Manager - Watford Training Manager - 12 Month FTC Location: Based at Watford General Hospital with travel to other Trust sites as required Salary: Up to 42,000 PA Are you passionate about developing people and driving excellence through training? We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Training Manager to join our Soft FM Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting staff development and ensuring we deliver high-quality, safe and compliant services for patients, visitors and staff. About the Role Reporting to the Contract Director, you will take the lead on training and development for all Soft FM Services colleagues. You'll act as the vital link between the Trust, our teams and Compass Group's Learning & Development function - ensuring staff are equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed. Key responsibilities include: Delivering and coordinating training programmes in line with contractual and legislative requirements Inducting new starters and supporting their vocational development, including apprenticeships Planning and organising mandatory and refresher training sessions Designing and delivering bespoke training to meet departmental needs Maintaining accurate training records and providing regular reports Sharing best practice across healthcare contracts Championing inclusivity and equal opportunities in all training activity About You We're looking for someone who is: A natural leader with excellent communication and motivational skills Enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised Able to build strong relationships with managers, staff and stakeholders Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a busy healthcare environment Essential skills and experience: Strong background in staff training, induction, or people development Experience in delivering and facilitating training sessions Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites Previous experience in a Healthcare setting is desirable however not essential Recognised Training qualification / Experience is desirable however not essential Why Join Us?
