This service provides support for people who have been bereaved and need additional assistance. The post-holder will work within a team of Practitioners to offer early advice and help to individuals in the community, as well as support those with mild to moderate mental health issues.
This is a unique role requiring empathy, good listening skills, the ability to gain trust quickly, and build therapeutic relationships.
Driving license and access to a car are essential. Gaelic speaking is desirable but not required.
Please note: this role is based on Berneray, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist, Eriskay, and Barra.
