Dealer Manager – Construction Team
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Construction team as Dealer Manager. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role focuses on dealer performance management, channel development, strategic planning, and ensuring adherence to brand, service, and operational standards. The Dealer Manager works closely with sales, marketing, product support, and finance teams to strengthen the dealer channel and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
* Recruit, onboard, and develop high‑performing dealers in alignment with regional growth strategies.
* Evaluate dealer performance using KPIs such as sales volume, market share, inventory health, after‑sales performance, and customer satisfaction.
* Conduct regular dealer business reviews and establish action plans for improvement.
* Ensure dealers comply with corporate policies, branding standards, and contractual agreements.
Sales & Business Development
* Drive retail and wholesale sales through dealer engagement, training, and promotional support.
* Identify business opportunities and new market segments to expand dealer coverage.
* Collaborate with marketing to implement dealer marketing programs, shows, events, demonstrations, dealer days, and digital initiatives.
* Support dealers with product launches, sales campaigns, and pricing guidance.
Operational Support & Training
* Provide coaching on sales processes, inventory management, business operations, and service excellence.
* Coordinate sales training programmes with internal teams to elevate dealer competencies.
Market Intelligence
* Monitor competitive activity, market trends, pricing, and customer demands within the assigned territory.
* Gather field insights to inform product development, sales forecasting, and strategic planning.
* Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management.
Customer Relationship Management
* Visit key end-users with dealers to strengthen relationships and identify fleet opportunities.
* Provide advice and guidance on the right product to suit the end users’ requirements.
This role will involve regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland, with some travel to Europe and internationally.
