What you will be doing
:
You will support the Registered Manager to lead the team in providing high-quality care and support to people with Learning Disabilities and Autism, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork.
As the Deputy Registered Manager, you will empower the individuals we support and deliver supervision to staff in order to ensure the delivery of great care. Working alongside the Manager to manage budgets, leading by example and acting as a role model to all members of the team, you will help create a positive learning environment making a real difference and changing lives for the better.
Other duties include:
1. Supporting the Registered Manager to prepare for contract reviews and represent the organisation in respect of service delivery.
2. Supporting the Registered Manager to create, maintain and enhance productive working relationships within the home.
3. Ensuring the appropriate number and skill mix of staff on duty at any given time subject to company protocol and the needs of the service users.
4. Planning, implementing and monitoring the Person Centred Approach to care within the home.
*Working 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility across the 7 days, as exact shift times will vary depending on the needs of the service at the time.
Things that you will have:
5. Charge Nurse RMN or RNLD
6. Effective NMC Registration
7. An excellent track record in a senior role within the healthcare sector.
8. An understanding of learning disabilities and autism.
9. A passion for improving clinical quality and care.
10. Strong leadership skills.
Where you will be working:
Beck House is a registered care service with nursing that forms part of Elysium’s Learning Disabilities & Autism complex care service, which provides six bespoke single-person apartments, enabling individuals to live in their own space. The service is due to open in January 2026. What you will get:
