The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Class Teacher to join our team for a half-term temporary position. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working in a supportive, community-focused school and is passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching to a Year 3 class, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity for pupils.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
* Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning
* Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
* Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support all learners
* Communicate effectively with parents and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
* Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
* Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
* Be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school
