Data & Insight Analyst – High-Growth Marketplace
Are you a data enthusiast who loves uncovering the \"why\" behind consumer behaviour? We are looking for a commercially-minded Data & Insight Analyst to join a Central Insight & Analytics team at a market-leading platform.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Actionable Insights: Dive deep into marketplace dynamics to provide the business with clear, data-driven recommendations that change the status quo.
* Strategic Partnering: Work closely with Commercial, Product, and Marketing leaders to understand their biggest challenges and build analytical roadmaps to solve them.
* Data Modelling: Develop high-quality data models and ensure your SQL queries are as efficient as possible to maintain a high bar of analytical excellence.
* AI Champion: Leverage AI tools to accelerate your own output and help the wider team find new ways to drive productivity and efficiency.
* Commercial Impact: Proactively identify revenue opportunities and cost efficiencies, ensuring your insights translate directly into business growth.
What You’ll Need
* Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with SQL is essential (efficient query writing is a must). You should also be comfortable using Python for deeper, more complex analysis.
* Marketplace Mindset: A background in marketplace or e-commerce environments is highly preferred, alongside a passion for understanding consumer behavior.
* Stakeholder Management: You must be able to translate complex data into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders. This is a must-have skill for this role.
* Data Modelling: Proven experience in structured data modelling and building robust reporting suites.
* Longevity & Impact: We are looking for someone with a stable career history who can demonstrate the tangible impact they’ve made in previous positions.
* Marketing Savvy: While the focus is commercial, an understanding of marketing analytics is a significant plus.
