Salary: Our Skilled Baker rate of pay starts from £13.38 per hour; this increases to £14.59 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12) if desired.
Availability and scheduling: We will schedule contracted hours within the weekly availability windows you provide, with 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. We’re flexible if your availability closely matches but does not exactly align with advertised times. Read more by clicking the provided link.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
* Baking in waves for scratch products so customers receive fresh products throughout the day, minimising waste and ensuring yield is adhered to for great quality.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Adhering to all food hygiene, safety and allergen guidelines at all times.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within my department and store.
* Putting training into practice to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
* Proactively checking emergency stop buttons and machinery safety; report next steps to the Shift Leader/Team Manager.
* Disposing of waste responsibly, including following food waste and recycling routines.
* Being knowledgeable about store performance and the role you play in driving service, sales, reducing waste, shrink, and profit.
* Being yourself, living Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
