Children’s Support Worker (EBD Experience Required)

Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Hours: Variable (including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children’s Support Worker to join our team in a residential children’s home based in Hillingdon. This role involves supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), helping them to achieve positive outcomes in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
You will play a key role in promoting stability, building positive relationships, and supporting young people in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with EBD
· Promote emotional well-being and positive behaviour management strategies
· Support with daily routines, education, and recreational activities
· Maintain accurate records and reports in line with company policies
· Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
· Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times
Requirements
· Previous experience working with children with EBD (essential)
· Experience within a residential children’s home setting (preferred)
· Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
· Ability to manage challenging behaviours confidently and calmly
· Flexible to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends
· NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or working towards) desirable
