Location: Kidlington or Sulhamstead
If you have a passion for teaching new starters how to use IT systems and the processes behind them, you could be the perfect candidate. In this role you will deliver and develop IT Systems and Business Process classroom training for police officers and police staff.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement and maintain training courses to recognised force-wide and nationally approved quality standards.
* Deliver IT Systems and Business Process training and provide support in relevant curriculum areas to course participants.
* Identify and clearly articulate IT system faults and business process issues, collaborating with stakeholders to integrate new technologies.
* Ensure valid and reliable assessment standards are used when undertaking tutorials or conducting tests/exams, and promote equality and fairness in the classroom.
* Comply with Health, Safety & Welfare requirements while conducting training and maintain your own CPD by staying up to date with changes in procedures, policy and training methods.
* Plan, manage your own workload and work to deadlines; maintain proven working knowledge of the IT Systems and business processes in the training portfolio.
* Travel to different locations within the force as required.
* Understand Data Protection and Information Security legislation and issues.
Qualifications
* QCF level 3 Certificate in Learning and Development (L&D) or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
* Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting.
* Proven ability to identify and articulate IT system faults and process issues (verbal and written).
