Cambridge Health Alliance's Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a nationally recognized model of care that serves adults aged 55 and older living with chronic medical and/or mental health challenges.
At CHA PACE, our mission is to support our program participants in achieving the highest level of independence within their communities and preventing nursing home placement. Our high-functioning interdisciplinary team supports this goal by providing fully integrated medical and behavioral health services, community resources, and home-based care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Position Overview
Under the direction of the Appointments Coordination Manager, the PACE Scheduling Associate performs a wide range of administrative and support functions for the department. Administrative responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Accurate and timely documentation of care in electronic medical records in EPIC, including documentation of care from outside providers
* Efficiently managing assigned work queue for care coordination
* Schedulingnew and follow-up appointments for PACE participants as directed
* Providing support and coverage to the Scheduling Coordination Team where needed
Qualifications
* High School/GED required; Associates Degree preferred
* 1-3 years in an office/administrative role; healthcare experience preferred
* Experience with computer applications such as advanced word processing, spreadsheets, databases, flowcharts and graphics preferred (Microsoft Office and Google Suite preferred)
* Experience with EPIC a plus
