The successful English Teacher will deliver engaging and structured lessons that help students achieve academic success while building confidence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours.

About the School
This specialist Alternative Provision in Uxbridge supports students who are unable to access mainstream education due to SEMH needs, behavioural challenges, or previous school exclusions.

* Small class sizes (typically 6:8 pupils)
* High staff:to:student ratios with additional Teaching Assistant support

Requirements for the English Teacher
* QTS or QTLS (essential)
* Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Experience working with challenging behaviour, SEMH needs, or Alternative Provision settings
* Strong behaviour management and de:escalation skills
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* A genuine passion for supporting young people who require additional behavioural and emotional support
