You will prepare equipment, materials and solutions for practical lessons, maintain laboratory spaces, support health and safety compliance and assist teaching staff during demonstrations and experiments. The role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about scientific learning, highly organised and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience within a school laboratory environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Responsibilities Include: • Preparing apparatus, materials and chemicals for practical lessons • Organising and maintaining laboratory equipment and stock levels • Ensuring high standards of safety and compliance across all science labs • Assisting teachers with demonstrations and experimental setups • Managing storage and disposal of chemicals in line with regulations • Maintaining accurate inventories and supporting resource ordering Experience and Qualifications • A background in Science (A-Levels or equivalent required; degree desirable) • Experience working in a laboratory environment (school or industry) • Strong understanding of health and safety in laboratories • Ability to work efficiently, accurately and independently • Excellent organisational and communication skills School Information This Wolverhampton school is well-known for its outstanding behaviour, inclusive ethos and excellent academic standards.
