A role has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a fast paced internationally successful company based in Hounslow. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing accounting support and management of the accounts receivables portfolio helping minimise credit risk, whilst maximising cash flow, and creating long-lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Monthly billing to key customers, raising ad hoc invoices and credit notes.
2. Manage customer credit limits, controlling the credit risk and bad debts.
3. Monitor cash receipts and ensure accurate posting to customer accounts.
4. Obtaining all relevant financial documentation including remittances and backups.
5. Ensure payments are received in time and according to agreed payment terms.
6. Responding to and raising queries on time for both internal and external stakeholders.
7. Actively build and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues at all levels.
8. You will also be responsible for month-end and weekly deliverables and duties.
9. Supporting the team with treasury management and the audit processes.
10. Maintain accurate customer account reconciliations and sales ledger.
