Job Title: Central Kitchen Manager
Details of duties:
* Organizes, prepares and directs food preparationin batch amounts for onsite service or delivery
• Motivates and creates a positive environment for our team and customers
• Accurately manages kitchen rotas and supervises kitchen staff
• Prepares and delivers effective and ongoingsanitation training and ensures staffcompliance with sanitation standards
• Assumes responsibility for ordering, receiving, and preservation of foodstuffs and othersupplies
• Regularly reviews product quality and researchesnew vendors, checks that supplies are properly used and accounted for to prevent wastage and loss and to keep within budget limit
• Plans and updates menu from time to time to satisfy customer needs
Salary and weekly working hours:
* GBP Gross Salary per year depending on experience based on a weekly working hour of 37.5
Skills, experience and qualifications required for the job:
* Have a keen interest in Chinese food and culture
• Experience and knowledge in food preparation and food hygiene requirements
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Experience in a management role with proven customer service and employee management experience is preferred
• Acute financial management skills
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to engage with fellow kitchen staff members and build a friendly rapport
• The ability to communicate in both English and Chinese is preferred as the candidate is expected to communicate regularly with Chinese-speaking kitchen staff, suppliers and customers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
