Air Conditioning Engineer Location: Liverpool, Manchester, Lancaster, Leeds, Birmingham Working Hours: 08:00–16:30, Monday to Friday Salary: Competitive Benefits Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Overview: An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing team on a newly awarded contract. The role will involve service, maintenance, and small works across a portfolio including NHS sites, schools, care homes, and office buildings. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on a variety of HVAC and air conditioning systems * Diagnose faults and undertake repairs in a timely and efficient manner * Deliver minor installation and small works as required * Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota (retainer provided) * Work directly with clients on-site in a professional and customer-focused manner Requirements: * Relevant HVAC qualifications (e.g., F-Gas Certification, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) * Proven experience in both PPM and reactive maintenance * Knowledge of a wide range of air conditioning systems * Full UK driving licence * Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work What’s Included: * Company van fuel card (private use permitted) * Tools and uniform provided * Overtime rates: 1.4x Mon–Sat, 1.9x Sundays * 21 days holiday 8 bank holidays * Pension scheme * Training and progression opportunities available Contract Environment: NHS, education, care, and commercial sectors Client-Facing Role: Yes Team Structure: Part of an established regional team Get in touch with Jacob from HVAC for more information
