Overview
An "Outstanding" and leading Secondary School within the Borough of Westminster is recruiting multiple Mental Health Assistants for an ASAP start. These are full-time, long-term roles for the entire academic year.
Please note the School are keen to take candidates directly onto their books, with a salary of £24,500 and hours 8am – 5pm.
The Secondary School has grown from strength to strength over the past 5 years and has a fantastic reputation throughout London. It serves pupils from Reception to Year 6 and is located in the heart of Westminster.
Responsibilities
* Supporting children in and out of the classroom
* Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis with any issues, in and out of school
* Supporting pupils with SEN needs including ASD, ADD, Dyslexia, Speech and Language difficulties, and more
* Acting as a buddy and providing school in-care / after-care support
* Collaborating with parents, SLT and social services as needed
* Contributing to a fast-paced environment and making a positive difference
