Location: London – (Hybrid - 3 days a week in office)
Our client is seeking an experienced Fund Controller to join their team in London. This role is critical to supporting the Fund Controller BAU activities and requires a strong background in financial controls and fund accounting. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of fund structures, consolidation methodologies, and experience working with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee financial accounting for funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Prepare and review fund reporting packs
* Work with data systems such as Yardi for input and configuration
* Support ERP system implementation and integration activities
* Ensure data quality and integrity across financial systems
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with regulators
* Advise the business on financial controls and fund management best practices
Experience & Skills Required
* Qualified accountant with 6+ years of relevant experience
* Previous roles in Financial Controls, Fund Controller, or similar positions
* Strong understanding of financial accounting for funds and consolidation methodologies
* Experience with data management and financial systems, including Yardi
* Exposure to ERP system implementations
* Investment banking experience is highly desirable
* Proven ability to communicate with regulators and advise business stakeholders
