We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant - Mainstream for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Neerigen Brook Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School located in the centre of Armadale, 36km south east of Perth and caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Role

As a Mainstream Education Assistant, you will ideally support our teachers in delivering planned education programs and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will be responsible for assisting teachers in delivering planned education programs, including the operation of computers and implementing individual or small group programs or demonstrations. You will also help maintain the learning environment by keeping equipment, materials, and resources organized and ready for use in classes and activities, and by helping to keep the classroom clean and safe. This role will provide you with the opportunity to play a positive impact in the lives of students and to develop your own skills and autonomy in a supportive environment.

Eligibility

1. be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
2. obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
3. consent to a and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
