Research Associate

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Research Associate with a background in biomedical sciences to work within the IMPRESS2 programme group under the supervision of Prof Richard Edmondson and Dr Glen Martin. The post holder will be part of both the gynecological cancer research group and the Centre for Health Data Science, based on the Oxford Rd Campus.
The candidate will support the aims of IMPRESS2, funded by NIHR, a project that studies the effects of a complex intervention designed to improve decision‑making in ovarian cancer. This post specifically aims to use the large datasets generated in the programme to develop new methods for predicting outcomes for patients with this disease.
Responsibilities
* Support the IMPRESS2 project aims and objectives.
* Work with large datasets to develop new predictive methods.
* Collaborate with a national multi‑disciplinary team based in Manchester, Newcastle and London.
* Act independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
* Background in biomedical sciences.
* Experience with cancer pathways.
* Ability to handle large datasets.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
