You will be part of a highly respected team that values its employees and their input About the Role As a Biosecurity Officer with North West Local Land Services, you'll play a key role in supporting landholders to manage biosecurity in the region. You'll work on field activities, compliance with regulations, helping protect the agricultural landscape and natural ecosystems. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, support emergency response efforts, and ensure programs meet national biosecurity standards. Key responsibilities: Conduct field and regulatory activities for disease management. Ensure compliance with biosecurity legislation and regulations. Engage with customers and stakeholders on biosecurity initiatives. Support surveillance, investigation, and emergency response efforts. Maintain accurate records and contribute to program evaluation. Key challenges: Engaging diverse stakeholders while applying regulations. Balancing planned activities with immediate biosecurity needs. About You This is a role for someone who loves being in the field and working with people and animals, and to be successful you’ll need to have a current NSW Class C Driver License and the ability and willingness to travel (including overnight stays) as required.
