Job Title: Motor Vehicle Lecturer

Hourly Rate: Up to £45 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. You will deliver high-quality teaching and practical training to students across a range of motor vehicle subjects, helping them gain the skills and knowledge needed for success in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and practical motor vehicle lessons in line with current curriculum standards
* Plan, prepare, and assess learning materials and student work
* Support students in developing both theoretical understanding and hands-on workshop skills
* Maintain high standards of health and safety in the workshop environment
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering or Automotive Technology
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one
* Industry experience within the motor vehicle sector
* Strong communication and classroom/workshop management skills
* Ability to inspire and motivate learners with diverse backgrounds
Desirable:
* Experience teaching in a further education or training setting
* Assessor and/or Internal Verifier qualifications (e.g., TAQA, A1, V1)
* Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle technologies
* Experience working with apprentices or delivering vocational qualifications
