Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Pay: £13 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week – 3-month contract
Location: Lane End, On-site
About the role of the Purchasing Administrator
We are looking for a highly organised Purchasing Administrator to support a busy operations and purchasing team on a 3‑month contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, good computer skills, and experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Raising purchase requisitions and stock orders accurately
Using MRP systems to support production requirements
Checking order acknowledgements and escalating discrepancies
Filing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records
Running daily overdue reports and supporting on-time deliveries
Managing rejected goods and replacements
Supporting continuous improvement within the department
Building strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teamsWhat We’re Looking For:
Experience with MRP systems and production processes
Strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail
Organised, self‑motivated, and able to prioritise workload
Good communication skills and a professional approach
Ability to work well within a team
Willingness to support urgent deadlines when needed
