SRG is seeking a Junior Operations Analyst for a leading multinational consumer goods and personal care company that primarily produces paper-based consumer products. This role involves providing operational financial support to the mill, including the daily and monthly processing of various financial and mill-related requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Finance & Operations
2. Ensure production is reconciled prior to stock take adjustments and weekly/monthly finance processing for paper mill and finishing production.
3. Update scheduled hours in the SAP system before finance processing.
4. Support mill operations with reports on efficiencies, output rates, and performance analysis.
5. Follow weekly/monthly financial processes related to material management, supporting relevant teams.
6. Coordinate and collate processes and information for month-end accounting, liaising with finance as necessary.
7. Produce and interpret mill performance reports at month-end, including efficiency, output, and cost analysis.
8. Maintain full understanding of all site processes and reporting guidelines (P2020).
9. Support the mill PSA position, including holiday and sickness cover.
10. Mill Systems
11. Serve as a key user and SME for site systems such as PIMS, SAP, and TekTerm.
12. Manage PIMS reports in line with P2020 reporting requirements.
13. Support data management on SharePoint and develop reports for department objectives.
14. Internal Control
15. Implement and maintain financial policies and controls.
16. Perform routine compliance testing and support internal control documentation and updates.
17. Planning
18. Assist in RFS cycle design and updates, fostering relationships with site leadership.
19. Site Access
20. Manage system access, perform user reviews, and support access requests.
21. Accounts Payable
22. Support queries related to accounts payable and assist the purchasing team.
Experience and Qualifications
* Minimum 'A' Level education or equivalent.
* Experience in manufacturing is desirable.
* Proficiency in Excel is essential; SAP experience is preferred.
* Working towards a professional financial qualification (CIMA, AAT) is desirable.
