The Role As a Teaching Assistant in a PRU setting, you must have a dedicated, resilient and patient approach to supporting young people. Within this school, students aged 4-11 years old will have various SEN diagnoses with behavioural difficulties, diagnoses may include: ADHD / ADD Autism Spectrum Conditions Conduct Disorder Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Oppositional Defiant Disorder Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties The school has amazing facilities such as sensory rooms and calming spaces to help aid in the emotional regulation of the children and is dedicated to helping every pupil thrive in a safe, supportive and inspiring environment.
