Overview
A leading Japanese IT company based in central London is seeking a Japanese-speaking AWS Solutions Engineer to support the migration and maintenance of its Treasury Management System to the cloud. The role involves system requirement definition, release management, troubleshooting, infrastructure building, and cloud migration. This position is ideal for candidates with a solid understanding of financial operations or experience with IIS and AWS-based development and infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities
1. Development & Maintenance of Treasury Management System (TMS):
o Design, develop, and operate system features
o Improve system stability and performance
o Collaborate with finance to understand requirements and define specifications
o Manage the process from design to release
2. System Infrastructure and Cloud Migration:
o Build and manage environments using Windows Server and IIS
o Plan and execute migration to AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
o Propose and implement security and performance improvements
3. Development Tools & Automation:
o Utilize version control tools (e.g., Git) and task management systems
o Plan and implement process improvements and automation
o Work within a DevOps environment to integrate development and operations
Candidate Requirements
* Experience designing and building AWS architectures
* Hands-on management of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
* Experience developing and maintaining financial systems
* Proficiency in SQL for queries and data extraction
* Experience with IIS and Windows Server administration
* Participation in system migration or replacement projects
* AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, etc.) are a plus
* Business-level fluency in Japanese and English
