Job Title: Senior Engagement Officer (Housing Partnerships)
Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week – Monday to Friday)
Salary:£35,000 per annum
Contract: 18 months fixed‑term contract – reviewed as the project progresses
Location: Flexible (homeworking or office) with regular trips across the North for team working and housing partnership commitments

The Northern Housing Consortium is the leading not‑for‑profit membership body for councils and social housing providers across the North of England, with 50 years of expertise and influence.
Housing Partnerships are a group of housing providers and stock‑holding local authorities who come together to speak in one clear voice, championing regional priorities at the heart of delivering new homes and creating better places. This includes driving the government’s agenda on devolution, economic growth, and increasing the supply of affordable housing, while ensuring strong support for local communities.
Who are we looking for?
We have two exciting opportunities for you to join the team as Senior Engagement Officers (Housing Partnerships), on a fixed‑term contract.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone skilled in building strong relationships, managing multiple projects, and delivering exceptional experiences for the housing sector and wider stakeholders. We value experience in a membership or stakeholder management role, and knowledge of housing, devolution, and regeneration.
Responsibilities
* Deliver an exceptional experience for housing partnership(s) across the North, providing support on initiatives, campaigns, events, and engagement activities.
* Coordinate and manage meetings, working closely with housing leaders, industry partners, and colleagues.
* Manage multiple workstreams across the Housing Partnerships.
* Support the NHC’s influencing work in collaboration with the Policy & External Relations directorate.
Qualifications
* Experience in membership or stakeholder management.
* Strong project management skills.
* Knowledge of housing, devolution, and regeneration valued.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
