Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise small groups or individual sessions tailored to the needs of clients with autism and other disabilities.
* Develop and implement customised programmes that promote communication, social skills, behavioural development, and independence.
* Support children with toddler care needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and engagement throughout activities.
* Collaborate with families, therapists, and educational professionals to create cohesive support strategies.
* Facilitate teaching activities that enhance learning experiences in a nurturing environment.
* Monitor progress and adapt programmes accordingly to meet individual goals.
* Maintain accurate documentation of client development and session outcomes.
* Promote positive behaviour management techniques aligned with best practices in special education.
Experience
* Prior experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities is highly desirable.
* Experience in teaching or delivering educational programmes for children or young people.
* Knowledge of special education principles and behaviour management strategies.
* Experience caring for toddlers or young children in a supportive setting.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
* Demonstrated ability to work patiently, empathetically, and professionally within diverse environments.
