EF Manchester International Language Campus is looking for part‑time teachers to teach the University Foundation Programme starting 24 November. We seek teachers who can teach one or all three specialist modules (Psychology, Research Methods (Quantitative and Qualitative), International Business Management), each 6 hours 40 minutes of class time per week.
The position is paid hourly. The successful applicant will teach 6 hours 40 minutes a week, potentially over two days. Specialist modules run per term, followed by an exam week with paid marking. Teachers may also pick extra classes from other departments if they hold a CELTA.
Lessons will be delivered in person at our Manchester Campus on 26 Wilbraham Rd, Fallowfield.
The Role
* Plan and prepare lessons using EF’s curriculum and blended learning approach
* Track student attendance, assess progress, and provide regular feedback
* Facilitate testing and maintain academic records
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment
* Support students in achieving their learning goals through tutorials and guidance
The Ideal UP Teacher
* Hold a BA in the relevant subject (MA is desirable)
* Teaching or tutoring experience in any setting
* CELTA qualification (not essential)
* Passionate, professional, dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic and flexible
* Highly motivated, proactive, and positive, with a keen sense of initiative
* Keen interest in up‑to‑date teaching methodology and developments
* Able to encourage a positive and sharing attitude to both classroom and professional issues
* Sensitive to students’ academic and welfare needs
