Data Analyst – Office based, Bradford - £30,000 - £35,000 + benefits (Pro rata) – 3 months Fixed Term Contract + possible extensions
We are now looking for a number of Data Analysts to join one of our clients, based in Bradford. The roles are responsible for continually improving the central control processes to meet performance commitments that our client has.
Our client has build a new product, using data analytics, real-time reporting and recognising data patterns. There will be lots of ownership in this role, with you expected to take on tasks from creation through to completion. You’ll be liaising with other teams across the business and often working on multiple workstreams at once.
This means no two days will ever be the same, but as a Data Analyst you will need to really own it.
You can also expect your role to involve:
* of central systems and processes, so that the client can provide a centre of excellence with respect to alarm and SCADA management.
* field performance to ensure the control room alarm volumes are manageable.
* alongside the field & central 24/7 teams to develop site-specific reach out plans so that sites can be operated centrally when required to reduce out-of-hours working, energy consumption and reduce asset downtime.
* as a key optimisation liaison between operations and other key internal departments, e.g. Engineering reliability, Asset Management and ADU teams.
* technical support in the management of incidents and ‘near misses’.
It goes without saying that we are looking for individuals who are great communicators and comfortable conversing and influencing senior leadership stakeholders as well as other team members.
What skills are we looking for:
Essential:
* analytics experience
* developing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships
* understanding of Excel and Microsoft packages is key
* delivering continual improvement in a process/production environment
* to detail
* of Health and Safety management processes and systems
* experience in the Water or Utilities industries, OR, with a keen interest in Utilities or the Environment.
Desirable
* understanding of wastewater treatment, sludge and network operation
* experience in a commercially orientated or regulated environment
* and understanding of asset management principles
* management
* of risk policy and process
* awareness
