Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher for a permanent role in the Daventry area, starting December 2025.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons aligned with the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
* Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour using effective management strategies
* Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and whole-school initiatives
* Participate fully in school life, including staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and extracurricular activities

What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching History at secondary level
* A confident classroom presence and the ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
* A commitment to inclusive teaching, supporting all students to reach their full potential
* A collaborative, proactive team player who contributes positively to the school community
