About Your Role
Our Strategic Asset Management team is growing, working across sectors providing advisory and consultancy services to road, rail and aviation clients. As an Associate within the team, you will work closely with our Head of Strategic Asset Management and Asset Management Directors in delivering our growth plans. You will provide technical leadership, deliver quality on time and within budget, and lead teams while mentoring junior members. You will take a leading role across our Strategic Asset Management portfolio on delivery, project performance, client relationships and people development, contributing to the team’s targets.
Responsibilities
* Lead Safety, health and well-being (SH&W) leadership and embed SH&W culture across teams.
* Contribute to the team\'s operational performance, including successful commercial project performance and delivering monthly business KPIs.
* Lead the development and implementation of strategic asset management frameworks for clients across infrastructure sectors (e.g., highways, transportation, rail, defence, utilities).
* Provide technical leadership on complex projects, applying risk-based decision making, whole-life asset planning, information management and regulatory compliance.
* Lead analytical staff and technical experts to inform long-term capital investment programmes.
* Manage resources and develop relationships with other teams; agree fees and manage the commercial position on projects.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
* Chartered Engineer or equivalent, with experience in at least one industry field, preferably highways.
* Experience with asset data systems and configuring or specifying Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, CMMS or DSTs.
* Understanding of asset management practices, theory, and business strategy.
* Broad knowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting UK infrastructure development.
* Strong expertise in ISO 55000, asset lifecycle planning, investment planning, risk-based asset management strategies and digital transformation in asset management.
* Business acumen and desire to progress into an operational role; ability to develop strong client relationships and collaborate across regions and teams.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence financial performance on projects.
