Your new company Your new company is a multidisciplinary, family-run contractor based in Mid-Ulster, specialising in construction within the education, leisure, restoration & heritage, private residential & social housing and commercial sectors. The company has built an enviable industry name over the last 50 years on their specialist team, consistently delivering high quality service on a variety of projects for a diverse range of long-term clients, which has led to a high level of repeat business and continuous bid success. This company is now embarking on a new public sector scheme and requires the services of an experienced Civils Foreperson to oversee the duration of works. Your new role As Site No.1, you will be responsible for the management of all civils and external works on a recently completed commercial scheme for a minimum of 3-4 months for a prominent public sector client. Works involve groundworks, landscaping, drainage and surfacing of all external spaces at the facility over which you will be responsible for all direct labour and subcontractors on site. What you'll need to succeed As a successful Foreperson, you will have proven experience in a similar role, with knowledge of groundworks, landscaping, surfacing and minor civils works essential. You must be CSR (Site Supervisor), CSCS or SMSTS certified in order to be considered for this the project is due to commence in the next 2 weeks, you must be immediately available or on a shortened notice period.
