This is a Hybrid role, the Collections team work from our Cardiff City Centre Office 3 days per week, and 1 week in every 4 is fully remote. During your first 3 months you'll be required to work 5 days a week in the office whilst youplete your training.
What You'll Be Doing In this role, you will work directly with customers to help them manage financial arrears by setting up fair repayment plans while ensuringpliance with relevant laws and policies. You'll be an empathetic and professionalmunicator, striving to resolve issues with patience and persistence.
1. Engage directly with customers to negotiate repayment plans
2. Analyse financial situations to create tailored solutions
3. Ensure adherence to GDPR, FCA, and FDCPA regulations
4. Handle customerplaints and resolve conflicts effectively
5. Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality standards
6. Work with internal and external teams to support customer oues
Shifts You'll work a week between 8am-8pm Monday to Friday. The shifts are:
7. 8am-4:30pm
8. 9am-5:30pm
9. 11:30am-8pm (one in every 4 weeks and can work fully remote that week)
We're Looking For
10. At least 2 years collections experience within financial services
11. Strongmunication skills, both verbal and written
12. Proven ability to manage challenging customer interactions
13. Experience using multiplemunication platforms (email, SMS, etc.)
14. Ability and skills to handle difficult conversations and deliver a fair customer oue
