Senior Energy Consultant – Commercial Buildings – Shrewsbury – Hybrid. Salary to £55k
Working for a successful, sustainability-driven MEPH consultancy. They specialise in designing and managing technical engineering solutions for the built environment, serving a blue-chip portfolio
They prioritise a ‘software first’ approach, combining applied building physics and digitalisation with traditional MEP consultancy to optimise asset performance.
This is a hybrid role (depending on the candidate’s location), requiring UK-wide travel and periodic attendance at their head office in Shrewsbury
Responsibilities
* Delivery of Commercial Energy Performance Certificates using IES dynamic simulation modelling software.
* Supporting the delivery of energy audits to BS EN 16247.
* Work with the team to develop real building lifecycle and upgrade strategies contributing to improved energy performance.
* The delivery of energy efficiency to clients to reduce operational costs and improve building asset ratings.
* Strategic and tactical input to the development of new products and services
Qualifications
* Minimum of five years industry experience.
* Strong knowledge of building services.
* CIBSE accreditation as an Energy Performance Certificate Assessor (To Level 5).
* Highly articulate and numerate.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and drive within complex and agile team structures.
* Ability to prepare detailed reports and presentations for a diverse range of audiences
* A self-start approach, with the capability of planning one’s own workload (recognising deadlines) and communicating effectively.
