Our client is looking for an experienced, energetic, and people-focused Restaurant General Manager / Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day running of their stylish restaurant and rooms business near St Austell.

What the Role Involves
* Leading daily restaurant and operational activities
* Managing and motivating a dedicated hospitality team
* Delivering exceptional guest experiences and service standards
* Managing staff rotas, labour costs, and team performance
* Supporting recruitment, training, and team development
* Working closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
* Maintaining high standards across service, presentation, cleanliness, and compliance
* Assisting with stock control, ordering, and operational efficiencies
* Helping drive business performance and continued growth
What They’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, or senior hospitality leader
* A confident and approachable leadership style
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* The ability to stay calm and effective under pressure
* A hands‑on attitude with excellent attention to detail
* Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and team development
* Commercial awareness and operational understanding
* Due to the location, own transport is essential
