Data Analyst, Index (12-month fixed term contract)

Role & Responsibilities
* Oversee and run validation models for indices.
* Perform index reconstitutions using Python and other tools.
* Prepare and distribute index announcements.
* Set up and test new indices and reference rates.
* Test and deploy updates to models.
* Address client inquiries and troubleshoot issues.
* Create and maintain documentation for processes and controls.
* Identify and recommend improvements to processes.
* Review and update index methodologies.
* Collaborate with analysts to ensure tasks are completed.
* Work with engineers on technical requirements and testing releases.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a quantitative developer.
* Strong Excel and Python skills.
* Solid knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
* Experience with time series data and large datasets.
* Understanding of financial markets and derivatives.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with APIs and streaming data is a plus.
